I forgot "K" and "I"!
K - Generally speaking the tone of the speech event was casual, but retained an appropriate level of seriousness, as was need to consider and analyze the discussion points made by the teacher and other student-participants.
I - Speaking was the dominant medium (as it commonly is) for the speech event. The variety of speech seemed to be standard to the customary student-teach dialogue model.
