SPEAKING

Our class has different styles of learning. Most teachers use discussions with the class, to help gauge the knowledge of the class. I will be talking about discussing the English language. I will be using the pneumonic SPEAKER on this type of style.
S- The students in the classroom.
P- The teacher helps lead the discussion, bringing out the main ideas of the class. The students are the participate.
E- Teachers educate on the class material. Students go to be educated on the subject.
A- The audience in a classroom is the students. Students go to class to learn the material for the class.
K- Learning about different subjects helps students in their lives.
I- Using oral language as the way to present ideas.
N- Listening and contributing to the classroom discussion. The student shares his insights on the material with the class. Learning and sharing ideas from the classroom.
G- Discussion of the materials.

This will be my first blog and I have only been to one class so far (a late start) but I look forward to this class and hope I am doing this blog right.
I will be be talking about the last class with the topic of slang. I am using "SPEAKER."
S: Twenty or more students in a classroom
P: Students participate in a discussion on what is slang and what isnt by listing slang words they normally use. The teacher acts as a leader, educating on the use of the words.
E: The teacher educates the class on slang, while students discuss slang words they use themselves
A: The students are the audience and the teacher acts as a leader. Students go to class to learn the required information
K: Learning about language helps students progress in life
I: Using visual and oral language to give knowledge on a particular subject
N: Students participate by expressing their thoughts and ideas on a certain subject to the other student
G: Slang
