I'm not surprised, or even repulsed, because EVERYONE is racist. As I've stated before, the difference is whether or not we work to avoid using that racism for discrimination. Resisting prejudice and discrimination is, to me, significantly more important than worrying about what our preferences are, although the fact is certainly an interesting one for consideration and analysis.
