The use of metaphors

I have to write on this one. Everyone who knows me would say I am the metaphore King. I am always making comparisons to other things using metaphors especially when explaining how something works or when in my study groups. Imagine how many metaphors are used in a biology class! In the readings "Metaphors we live by" alot of them did not make sense to me just because I am not use to hearing the vocabulary. No body I have any assosiation with uses the word "clout". So I had to use a dictionary to see what these metaphors even mean and even after learning them I would think that they are too complicated to use in everyday life rather than using the simplicity of other user friendly and esier to understand metaphors.
