why is it prejudice if i enjoy hearing someone talking the standard English over the black English prejudice? before there was such a think as black English there was only one place on earth where English was spoken and that was the in the European continent. With the fusion of different cultures mainly blacks due to slavery, different dialects emerged as a response from there oppression. But does it make it correct? after all it is a "borrowed" language and without the feeling of true "legion" to the origins and rules of this new language it is very easy to just play with it and make it a means of "hurting" the rulers and at the same time dissociate yourself from a ugly beginning.
